SAIC is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support mission‑critical operations in Chantilly, VA. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph and a daily on‑site start between 05:30 and 06:00.
In this role, you will act as the interface between on‑site government facilities management and Headquarters leadership on all matters related to facility operations, maintenance, and anomaly reporting.
Responsibilities
Validate facility reports for accuracy and completeness. Track down unanswered or unclear information. Liaise with senior government officials and other offices on all facility matters. Escalate issues when necessary. Create and maintain innovative and novel ways to visualize facilities infrastructure. Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with facility operations, project management, or program management. Basic knowledge of government organization and its business methods. Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures. Knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical systems used in facility operations. Understanding of critical facilities infrastructure and ability to assess reliability through data analysis or stakeholder interviews. Desired Qualifications
