The Medical Assistant is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.**Job Duties:*** Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.* Documents patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.* Administers routine injections under the direction and supervision of a provider.* Promptly responds to patient phone calls and concerns.* Triages patient phones calls, in accordance with office policy.* Obtains specimens (i.e. throat, urine, wound, etc) using proper technique and following policy and protocol for labeling.**Shift Details:*** Per Diem/Varies**Minimum Requirements:**Required License/Certification:
