POSITION OVERVIEW As Plumbing Shop Engineer you will be responsible for administering repairs and improvements to an already great property. Your attention to detail and ability to lead a diverse team will ensure the functionality of our resort and the safety and satisfaction of every guest.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

Operate and maintain domestic water system

Operate, maintain and repair of wastewater treatment plant

Perform preventive maintenance of all water features and mechanical

Troubleshoot complex maintenance problems and develop creative solutions. Perform maintenance duties as necessary

Interface with contractors. Reviews plans

Interface with vendors. Research and evaluate new housekeeping and maintenance products and procedures

Order supplies as needed

Establish schedules for repairs and preventive maintenance and ensure they are adhered to

Maintain all sewage ejection and dewatering stations

Maintain all underground sanitary and grease pipe systems

Maintain all above ground non-tenant pipe systems

Monthly PMs of sewer systems

Establishes schedules for repairs and preventive maintenance and ensures they are adhered to

Ability to handle independent work responsibility and judgment

Physical ability to access all areas of the property

Handles multiple tasks and works a variety of shifts necessary to complete assigned projects

Maintain a clean DMV record

Provide a current Nevada Motor Vehicle Report to the department leader and Risk Management every 6 months

Immediately notify department leader of any changes to the Nevada Driver’s License status

Work closely with other departments

Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High School diploma or equivalent

At least four years of plumbing experience in a similar environment.

Computer skills and data entry

Welding skills

Use of hand tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English

Excellent customer service skills

Polished appearance and demeanor

Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures

Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have supervisory responsibility.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 100 pounds and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
