ITCS supports enterprise‑wide computing at ECU, providing technology solutions for teaching, research, and service. The Enterprise Applications (EA) team maintains critical university applications, collaborating with campus departments to meet administrative needs. Position Overview

Supervisor – EA Admin Systems Non‑faculty – Technical Leadership Salary: $81,434 – $120,750 (based on budget, qualifications, and experience) Responsibilities

Supervision

– Manage a team of IT programmers, analysts, and technicians, ensuring requests are prioritized, procedures are followed, and performance goals are met. Systems Analysis

– Evaluate business needs, recommend solutions, maintain data integrity, and guide the application lifecycle. Project Management

– Prioritize work, develop project specifications, oversee development, and track enhancements for supported systems. Maintenance & Problem Resolution

– Prioritize tickets, determine causes, develop solutions, and collaborate with other ITCS teams to resolve issues. Documentation

– Establish and update standard operating procedures, produce comprehensive technical and user documentation. Testing

– Test new or modified applications, maintain testing plans, and validate solutions pre‑production. Training

– Conduct training sessions, mentor team members, and improve training opportunities. Professional Development

– Attend relevant training, maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, and align with organizational goals. Other Duties

– Work evening and weekend hours as required to maintain operations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field. 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervision experience with application administrators, analysts, and technicians. Experience with enterprise applications (deployment, management, technical support). Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, shell scripting, Linux commands via SSH, and Windows Server. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to resolve problems under pressure. Experience with Team Dynamix or similar service desk software. Benefits & Work Arrangements
