At Riverwood Center we have a team of caring and committed professionals providing a wide array of personalized services to individuals with behavioral health, intellectual & developmental disabilities and substance use disorders. Riverwood Center is located in beautiful Southwest Michigan with staff at seven sites across Berrien County. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and a member of Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards, and the National Council for Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities
Provides assessment and appropriate nursing services and physician support for consumers.
Assists in planning, linking, advocacy, coordination and monitoring health and psychiatric services.
Assesses needs, develops and monitors Person Centered Plans and documents treatment in an accurate and timely manner.
Provides education on medication, wellness and health issues to consumers, providers, family members and staff.
Prepares and administers appropriate screenings, injections, medications and documenting in the electronic health record.
Qualifications
Associates Degree from an accredited nursing education program.
One to two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, preferred experience working with individuals with mental illness.
Licensed by the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation as a Registered Nurse.
