Adelphi is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners(NP) to provide psychiatric services at multiple facilities in Bakersfield, California. The NPs will perform psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.

Requirements:

• Active CA license
• BLS

Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic and medical treatment procedures for assigned patients.
• Elicit medical history, perform physical examinations, take vital signs and examine specified problem areas.
• Order laboratory or clinical tests to provide further information.
• Stabilize, manage medical and surgical emergencies, administer and distribute medication to patients according to treatment plan interpretation.
• Recognize cases to be referred to physician.
• Effectively collaborate and maintain a positive working relationship with all multidisciplinary team members.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
