    • Minimum commitment of four shifts per month, with most needs on nights and weekends.
    • Standard shifts are eight hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Block scheduling is not available.

  • Seamless Technology: Leverage your familiarity with Epic, the EMR system used across all facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses.
    • Conduct thorough evaluations, develop treatment plans, and order necessary diagnostics.
    • Perform essential procedures as needed within your scope of practice.
    • Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams at various hospitals to optimize patient care.
    • Admit patients for further evaluation or treatment when necessary.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Epic EMR system.
  • Qualifications for Success:

    • Board certification in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM) is mandatory.
    • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS demonstrate your commitment to patient safety.
    • Valid Ohio medical license to practice medicine without restrictions. (Confirmation needed on whether the Interstate Medical License Compact (IMLC) is accepted).
    • Current DEA registration is required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
  • Hospital Network:

    • Each hospital within the network offers a unique environment with varying patient volumes and admission rates.
    • All hospitals utilize Epic as their EMR system.
    • You will have the opportunity to rotate between facilities, providing care to a diverse patient population.
