Position: Web Developer Location:

Centerville, VA (on‑site client environment)

Clearance:

TS/SCI with polygraph

As a Web Developer you will support and lead web design, development, production, testing, and troubleshooting projects of medium to high complexity. You will ensure IT applications and systems comply with Section 508 and our customers' accessibility standards.

Desired Qualifications

Must maintain an active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.

Demonstrated ability to support web design, development, testing, and troubleshooting IT projects.

Demonstrated experience developing responsive, standards‑compliant websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience building interactive, accessible user interfaces with Bootstrap, ScrollMagic, Greensock, and other libraries.

Experience optimizing and debugging cross‑browser web applications for performance and usability, and translating UX/UI designs into pixel‑perfect, mobile‑friendly front‑end experiences.

Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining WordPress, Joomla, and SharePoint sites across secure and public networks.

Experience ensuring all web content meets Section 508 and WCAG 2.1/3.0 accessibility standards, and conducting accessibility testing using JAWS, NVDA, WAVE, ARC Toolkit, and browser‑based tools.

Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and user flows using Adobe XD, Figma, or Illustrator, and conducting user research, usability testing, and journey mapping to inform design decisions.

Experience collaborating with stakeholders to refine UI requirements and improving user experience by applying UX best practices to streamline workflows and reduce cognitive load.

Demonstrated experience building full‑stack applications using PHP, Python, JavaScript, and .NET frameworks, integrating front‑end interfaces with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB backends, and developing RESTful APIs and automating data flows using JSON, XML, and YAML.

Experience designing and producing interactive WBTs using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Adobe Animate, editing and integrating video, audio, and animation using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Media Encoder, and collaborating with instructional designers to translate storyboards into engaging training modules.
