Your future contribution As a German‑speaking (Junior) People Operations Manager, you will support the People team by ensuring that our people‑oriented processes are solid and effective and foster our mission of collaboratively recruiting, developing, and retaining high‑performing, engaged, and diverse talent.
Your commitment, attention to detail, and hands‑on mentality together with your ability to work in a team as well independently, will help you accomplish various people‑related projects and have a direct impact on our HomeToGoer’s work experience.
How you’ll add value
The focus of the role will be to manage all administrative tasks, such as creating employment contracts, reference letters or pension plan documentations along with providing operational excellence during payroll preparation
During the first 3 months, you will:
Learn all about HomeToGo, our culture our policies and get to know your lovely teammates
Support the monthly payroll processes
Assist your colleagues by answering requests in our group mailbox
Become familiar with our HRIS Personio
After the first 6 months, you will:
Perform the monthly payroll process and create reports
Manage our offboarding process incl. reference letters
Maintain our HRIS Personio
From the very beginning, you will create and maintain a solid relationships with all relevant stakeholders and advises them when needed.
Using your previous knowledge and new ideas, you will collaborate with the PO Team to make processes more efficient and automated (e.g. improving our HRIS or annual Performance Review).
Within a year, you will become an expert in administrative features for our systems and you will support in implementing them.
You’ll be successful in this role if you
Have previous experience working in a People Operations/HR Team
Love working with people and are customer‑focused
Have experience with any HRIS (knowledge of Personio is a plus)
Work detail‑oriented, at the same time process‑oriented and never miss a deadline
Are proactive, able to work independently and handle multiple topics at one time
Have German and English language skills (German as your native language is an advantage)
Are eager to bring new ideas and to achieve team goals
Have very good applied knowledge of German labour law
