Job Responsibilities:- Design, build, and lead a cutting-edge GI program aligned with AtlantiCare s Vision 2030 goals.
- Create an academic GI division emphasizing research, education, and advanced clinical care.
- Develop and expand advanced GI services, including complex endoscopic procedures.
- Recruit, train, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of GI professionals.
- Serve as a hands-on clinical leader for complex GI cases.
- Drive collaboration across specialties, especially in cancer care.
- Manage endoscopic block time and ensure robust referral volumes from day one.
- Enhance access to care by engaging with underserved communities.
- Provide mentoring and training to foster workforce development.
- Shape GI care delivery and education for Atlantic, Ocean, and Cape May Counties.
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology (required).
- History of malpractice or licensing issues will be considered with limitations.
- Experience in program start-ups or leadership roles is preferred.
- Established track record of advanced clinical care in gastroenterology.
- Active and unrestricted New Jersey state medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA and CSR/CDS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Proof of COVID-19 and Flu vaccination compliance.
