Position Overview: As a
Radiology Technologist , you will play a vital role in providing diagnostic imaging services to patients. Working in a fast-paced, supportive environment, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during their exams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiology exams including X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging procedures
Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring comfort and safety
Operate radiology equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and adherence to safety standards
Review images for quality and work with radiologists to ensure accurate results
Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the electronic medical records system
Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety guidelines
Provide patient education and support throughout the imaging process
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the imaging department
Qualifications:
Certified Radiologic Technologist
(ARRT certification)
Current
state licensure
as a Radiologic Technologist (WA)
Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment, and procedures
Experience in performing diagnostic imaging exams, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting
Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently
Excellent patient care skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
BLS certification required (or willingness to obtain)
