The
UHS Acute Physician Recruitment Department
is seeking a dedicated and proactive
Physician Recruiter
to support our facilities in identifying and recruiting top physician talent. In this role, you will manage the full‑cycle physician recruitment process, from sourcing qualified candidates to coordinating communications with hospitals and candidates through to successful placement.
Key Responsibilities include:
Identify candidates using UHS‑provided internal and external resources
Maintain regular communication with facility CEOs or designated recruitment staff to obtain relevant information and receive guidance on assignments
Initiate and manage the full‑cycle physician recruitment process for assigned hospitals
Manage job postings promptly on physician‑specific internet job sites used by the department
Accurately and timely record all recruitment activities in the departmental database and shared drive documents
Develop and execute sourcing projects such as direct mail, internet campaigns, and calling initiatives as needed
Support miscellaneous recruitment‑related tasks including industry research on physician recruitment trends, compensation data, physician demographics, and visa sponsorship eligibility
Coordinate interactions with external vendors and service representatives, including staffing firms, advertising agents, and professional organizations
Represent UHS at physician job fairs, specialty education conferences, and residency program presentations as assigned
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 3 – 5 years’ system or company‑level Physician recruitment experience.
Skilled in managing candidate and client contact databases efficiently
Proficient with internet job boards including posting, updating, and revising job listings
Experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced mail merge capabilities
Extensive experience sourcing qualified candidates via multiple channels: internet job boards, cold and warm lead calls, targeted direct mail campaigns, and email blasts
Strong verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing accuracy and clarity in all correspondence
Willingness to travel occasionally to events such as job fairs and physician conferences
