Job Description Our client, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies, is currently seeking Insurance Specialist for their Warrendale, PA location. Pay- $15.hr. Work schedule- you pick shift- Shifts vary from 8-5, 9-6, 11:30-8. In addition to working with the world’s most recognized and trusted name in staffing, you would be eligible for: A competitive hourly pay rate with weekly checks Online continuing education via the Kelly Learning Center Several employee discounts And more! Job duties-Verifies or re-verifies insurance eligibility. Review requests from doctors and pharmacists to determine whether medication coverage prior authorization can be given by screening and reviewing requests based on benefit plan design, client specifics and clinical criteria. Notifies patients of insurance eligibility/benefits and financial responsibility. Assists in pricing negotiations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
6 months – 1 year relevant experience. Will consider candidates with general customer service experience, but still good tenure
Conflict resolution skills; excellent organizational skills; Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills; Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to handle challenging customers in a professional manner
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment learns quickly, solve problems and make decisions
Candidates must be Basic in Microsoft Word and Excel. Computer skills are required.
Insurance Company or Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.
Shifts available: 11:30 - 8:00 or 9:00 - 6:00.
