Associate Infrastructure Engineer

Associate Infrastructure Engineer- New York, NY-Dev and maint lat sensitive bld & testing infra using prop SW tools in C++ & Python for bldg distrib computing pltfrms, processing lg amts of trade data, & monitoring trading sys. Lead long-term rsrch & dvlpmt proj's to incorp adv acadmc rsrch on comp and HW engg into the firm's trading infra & eval existing infra using these adv concepts. Monitor live trading strats & make tech adjtmts based on mkt conditions & directn from Algo Devs. Trblsht sys in SW & HW to res op issues. Mentor new grp membs, providing guidance on rsrch initiatives & firm tools & infra. Eval busi unit requests for new or mod cmpnts for our low-lat, blended HW & SW trading sys. Req's: Bachelor's (U.S. or foreign equiv.) in Comp Sci, Comp Engg, SW Engg, or a rel field, plus 6 mos of exp in the pos offered, Core Dev, or rel exp. All req'd exp must have incld: Exp dvlping & maintaining SW tools in C++ & Python to monitor & control a low-lat blended HW & SW trading sys. Exp with trblshting systems in SW & HW to resolve op issues. Exp producing testing harnesses & processes in C++ & Python. Employer will accept any amt of prof exp w/ req'd skills. xmvmafu
