Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Must be available to work 40‑hour work week between 8a – 9p Monday through Friday (some weekends)
SUMMARY Responsible for providing advanced customer service support to brokers selling products via telephone or written communication.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists agents and brokers via telephone or written communication.
Responds to inquiries involving commissions, legislation, product information and policies and procedures for Individual, Small Group, Dental and Life.
Will be expected to average a certain number of phone calls per representative per week, average pieces of correspondence to be processed per day.
Coordinates mailings and fulfillment requests.
Assists in broker road shows.
Provides reports to brokers.
Works on special projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma and one year of related customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Previous health insurance industry experience preferred.
SKILLS
Advanced oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
Advanced organizational, problem‑solving and PC skills required.
Advanced benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge preferred.
