LP Therapy is seeking a licensed
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
to provide occupational therapy services in a Long-Term Care setting under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities
carry out established plans of care
assist patients with daily living skills and functional activities
fabricate and adapt splints and assistive devices
help design and modify patient environments
educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive equipment
complete timely and accurate Medicare and facility documentation
collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
support patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and productivity standards
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
current state COTA license
LTC experience preferred
knowledge of Medicare documentation
strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Work Environment LTC facility; physical demands consistent with therapy services, including lifting and mobility assistance.
