This is a rare chance to take over a busy spine service with immediate volume, collaborative support, and a clear path to ownership. Ideal for a spine surgeon ready to hit the ground running and earn well above market while practicing in a collegial, efficient setting.
Practice Overview
You'll join a group of 4 orthopedic surgeons and 1 foot & ankle subspecialist
Incoming surgeon will focus solely on spine (cervical, neck, lumbar); no general ortho required
Clinic features onsite MRI, walk-in clinic, therapy center, and ASC
4 APPs available; incoming surgeon may have a dedicated PA/NP for clinic and OR
Schedule
Expect ~20 patients per clinic day and 2-5 surgical cases per week
OR days typically Tuesdays and Fridays; fast 23-minute turnover
Surgery performed at both ASC (onsite) and affiliated hospital
1:5 paid call, decreasing to 1:6 in 2026; light burden with mostly hip fractures
Compensation & Benefits
Year 1 salary: $500,000-$550,000 with quarterly bonuses (typically hit by Q3)
Year 2+ earnings ~$1.4M via collections and ASC/profit-share
Ancillary income streams: therapy/EMR (~$400K) and surgical profit (~$1M)
100% paid health insurance, 401k + profit sharing (10% match), malpractice with tail
Candidate Requirements
Fellowship-trained in spine surgery
Comfortable with cervical, neck, and lumbar procedures
Motivated for early partnership and ownership
