About Us:
IMIDeology is a stealth digital health startup in Silicon Valley using AI to help patients reduce chronic pain and chronic inflammation. The founding team, with backgrounds in tech and healthcare venture capital, is looking for interns to work alongside them and help with data science, marketing, content creation, user research, and general operations.
Position Summary: The Part‑Time Remote CMA will assist providers in delivering telehealth services by performing virtual clinical tasks, patient outreach, documentation, and care coordination. This role is ideal for a tech‑savvy, organized CMA who is comfortable interacting with patients and providers in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform virtual intake: verify demographics, medications, allergies, and chief concerns
Conduct patient outreach, follow‑up calls, and care coordination
Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Review lab results, imaging, and referrals with patients under provider guidance
Assist with medication refills, prior authorizations, and order entry as directed
Coordinate referrals and specialist appointments
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all WA state regulations for remote clinical work
Qualifications:
Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential recognized in Washington State
Prior telehealth or remote healthcare experience a plus, but not required
Strong computer skills and comfort with EMR systems
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
Reliable high‑speed internet and private, secure workspace
