Practice Administrator (Urgent Care)

Liberty Hospital Doctors Building Position Summary / Career Interest: In a physician dyad model, provides leadership to achieve excellence in the customer experience, efficient operations, physician relations and staff engagement. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

Customer Experience: Promote positive customer relations and effective communication with job contacts; able to build trusting, collaborative relationships with staff, peers and physicians to insure efficiency in the practice while achieving patient satisfaction; investigate complaints and take appropriate action Operational Efficiency: Providing leadership through the application of LEAN-based tools. Financial Leadership: Develops the budget and maximizes budget performance. Maximizes the revenue cycle. Ensures coding compliance. Physician Experience: Select, train/orient, and assign staff; evaluate competency, intervene/counsel when necessary; act as a resource for physicians and staff, and creating/maintaining an environment that motivates staff to optimum potential Personnel: Select, train/orient, and assign staff; evaluate competency; intervene/counsel when necessary; act as a resource for physicians and staff, and create/maintain an environment that motivates staff to optimum potential Staff Engagement: Develops and sustains an environment where staff are engaged in the work, have clearly delineated expectations, and understand how they contribute to the success of the practice. Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management or related field 5 or more years experience of operational management experience supervising at least ten (10) employees experience and knowledge of medical office operations with four to five (4-5) physicians, billing and finance Preferred Education and Experience

Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management or Healthcare Administration or related field Experience managing a large, multi-specialty physician practice Knowledge Requirements
