Job Overview
648 Earthworks LLC is looking for a skilled, safety-driven Heavy Equipment Operator to join our fast-growing Field Operations team. In this hands-on role, you'll operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and more across a variety of commercial construction projects. Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, and CTLs
Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and survey markers
Perform pre-operational inspections and report any mechanical issues
Ensure accurate excavation, grading, and site prep
Collaborate with site supervisors to execute project plans efficiently
Perform manual labor as needed to support jobsite activities
Maintain strict safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations
Work overtime, nights, and weekends when required
Qualifications
3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment preferred
Certification or proven proficiency in operating excavators, bulldozers, loaders
Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures
Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
Physically fit with the ability to sit, bend, stoop, squat, and lift
Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented

Schedule
Full-Time
Monday–Friday, with potential overtime, nights, and weekends; frequent travel required.
