Reports to: Process Supervisor
Shift: Rotating Shift
Pay: $24/hour+

Summary
Under the direction of the Crusher Supervisor, maintain all crusher/clay/raw storage equipment, buildings, and ground areas by completing assigned inspections, housekeeping and lubrication schedules for these areas.
Responsibilities
Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
Schedule/perform lubrication and housekeeping of equipment operated daily.
Maintain all roads, berms, faces, floors and grounds for safe operations in the Quarry/Crusher/Clay Quarry areas.
Assist in safety inspections and compliance with environmental regulations and hazard controls as required by company, MSHA, EPA and TCEQ.
Perform daily pre‑shift and post‑shift safety and operational inspections on each piece of equipment operated; correct problems by best judgment or notify supervisor.
Inspect belts and feeders in work area.
Assist with crusher and plant repairs from time to time.
Operate various sizes of front‑end loaders, dozers, trucks, backhoes, blades, skid loaders, forklifts, haul trucks, etc. (CAT 992, Komatsu WA‑900, and CAT D9T).
Use knowledge of rock conveying and crushing equipment and associated hazards.
Relieve quarry personnel as needed to maintain production demands.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
Valid Driver's License and ability to safely operate large vehicles.
Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
Self‑starter able to work with little or no supervision.
Perform all duties in a safe manner.
Perform minor maintenance.
Reason operational issues as they arise and resolve them or communicate with others.
Knowledge of equipment used in the manufacturing of cement preferred.
Knowledge of hazards associated with areas of responsibilities.
Excellent work and safety record.
Understanding of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
