Every Aqua-Flo Supply team member is an important part of this mission.GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position provides over-the-counter sales to customers that includes determining customer needs, providing product advice, writing and recording the sale, and pulling the products for the order. This position requires ongoing independent study of manufacturer's products and applications to maintain current technical knowledge of all product lines.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESBe a team player and help where needed or asked by your supervisorReceive and greet walk-in customers and determine their needs for solutions or products with excellent customer serviceEfficient at ringing up customers with knowledge of all item classes and high-level product knowledgePerform complex quoting including special ordersAnswer phone calls within three rings at priority level 2Receive telephone and email orders and prepare those orders for will-call or deliveryDevelop basic sales strategies and sales leads collaborating with the Sales ManagerPerform inside sales calls for key customers, and follow up on large quote requests and large ordersAssist in training Sales Associate IMaintain cleanliness of sales floor and counter areasJanitorial duties and recycling as assigned and neededPerform all Warehouse Associate duties as assigned and neededPerform all Driver duties as assigned and neededOther duties as assigned and neededRequirements Experience: High volume retail or wholesale sales experience required.Education: High School or GEDLandscape, irrigation and utility knowledge required.Positive / Professional / Problem solverMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Forklift certification is a plus.Benefits401k with employer matchMedical/dental/vision plansPaid holidaysIncentive programTuition Reimbursement ProgramPaid volunteering time off Salary Description $55,000 - $85,000
