Description

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel throughout the district is integral to this job. A remote working environment /alternate work arrangement is not an option for campus-based employees/campus-based positions because regular and punctual attendance at the worksite and performing all duties at the worksite are essential job duties for all campus-based personnel.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this job:
High School Diploma or USA equivalency Six months of work related experience; including some experience working with children, youth leadership, coaching, and/or counseling preferred Demonstrated ability to recognize public safety hazards Demonstrated ability to de-escalate conflict situations is a plus Investigate complaints, disturbances, or violations Control traffic and parking on campus grounds Knowledge of relevant security equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective school security operations for the protection of people, data and property is a plus Demonstrated flexibility to cope with the challenges of a rapidly changing world Demonstrated willingness to remain current with the latest developments in the profession
