Job Responsibilities Provides courteous and friendly customer relations, including greeting customers and answering their questions. Orders products as requested. Prepares, handles, stocks, or stores all products received. Rotates all merchandise according to code dating policies. Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure proper location on the shelf, in saleable condition, and within the stocking guidelines established. Keeps the department fixtures, equipment, and area free from accident hazards at all times. Handles all store property and equipment in such a manner as to provide safe use. Maintains housekeeping functions (shelves and loose cardboard disposal). Assists in display building as directed. Works back stock from back room. Operate ordering equipment. Operate pallet jacks and hydraulic baler. Run register and assist front-end operations as requested. Unload trucks. Monitor the temperature of refrigerated cases. Operate telephones and intercoms and practice proper telephone etiquette. Follows all policies as outlined in the employee handbook. Qualifications (No specific qualifications listed.)
