Our client is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician for their manufacturing plant in North Charleston, SC. This facility manufactures controlled-release fertilizer brands Osmocote®, Agroblen®, and Agrocote®. As the Maintenance Technician , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant in North Charleston, SC. Your expertise will help maintain our high standards of production and safety. Charleston, SC Full-Time | Direct Hire Pay Rate: $27-37/hr, based on Experience Night Shift: 6pm-6am, Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment for smooth plant operation. Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric motors (480V and below), instrumentation, PLCs, HMIs, and mechanical systems. Use CMMS for scheduling and record-keeping (QAD EAM experience a plus). Follow safety protocols and collaborate effectively across teams. Skills & Experience High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred. 3+ years in industrial maintenance or a technical degree with 1+ year of experience. Proficient with technical documentation, electrical troubleshooting, instrumentation, automation, and mechanical equipment. Welding skills (arc/stick and MIG; stainless a plus). Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs., frequent walking/stair climbing, and working in confined spaces. Experience with CMMS; strong written and verbal communication skills.
