Position Overview As a warehouse associate, you matter. Compensation & Hours $21.75/hr plus $1.20 differential 11:00 PM Sunday – Thursday Full‑time employment opportunity Competitive pay and benefits Growth and professional development opportunities Recognition for great work, company events and picnics, and much more Position Purpose Responsible for having a strong understanding of the entire warehouse and receiving procedures. Also needs to understand the products, receiving procedures, and back‑stock put‑away procedures. A receiver is responsible for moving product off trucks, monitoring product quality, entering it into inventory, and properly putting product in its respective staging location. Essential Functions & Basic Duties Verify quantities of product received against the packing slip/purchase order. Check and report any damage due to refrigeration, travel or handling by inbound freight company. Sort or break down all incoming product. Build steady wrap pallets to be put into back‑stock reserves. Ensure all labeling of product and pallets are accurate for put‑away. Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures. Skills & Abilities Understand and properly follow all receiving procedures, including use of RF systems. Understand all paperwork related to receiving, including how to read and use Purchase Order (PO) receivers, Bills of Lading, and packing lists. Ability to work overtime as needed. Good judgment is required; direct supervision may not be immediately available at times.
