We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store in an appealing way, all while focusing on the in-store experience. What You'll Do Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills Maintain visual standards in your assigned sales floor zones Operate the register, process sales transactions, and promote additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup Assist with planogram updates, including store layout, wall, fixtures, and merchandising Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals Perform any other duties assigned by your Store Leader What You'll Need Previous retail experience; a love for music and pop culture is a plus! Strong customer service and sales skills Must be at least 16 years old Excellent collaboration and communication skills Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds Pay: $16.50 - $18.15 per hour Note: The starting pay range may vary based on education, location, experience, and other factors.
