Amsterdam, Ohio – Landfill
Highlights
Rotating Schedule: 3 days on one week, 4 days on next week.
12‑hour shifts: 7 am‑7:30 am
Work week: Thursday‑Saturday with every other Wednesday
Overtime paid after 40 hours in a work week

Driving experience required: CDL or non‑CDL applicants OK
Responsibilities
The driver is responsible for safely operating the truck in compliance with IWS’s safety standards and OSHA regulations.
This is a full‑time, year‑round position.
Union position offers competitive pay and full benefits, including medical, life, retirement, and paid time off.
Follow all company SOPs and continuously monitor for safety and service‑related issues with the equipment, reporting any issues to Supervisor or Dispatch.
All IWS employees are expected to be responsible and accountable for safety of themselves, colleagues, trucks, and other equipment and property. Drivers must immediately notify Supervisor or Safety of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
Operators may be responsible for operating a modified articulating dump truck (rock truck) and other equipment, transporting waste from an offloading facility on‑site to the landfill cell safely and efficiently.
Heavy equipment operation and articulating dump truck (rock truck) experience preferred.
Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to speak and read English.
Must be able to meet the physical and safety requirements of the position.
Must be willing and able to work required hours as allowed, including weekend, night, and/or holiday work.
Salary Range: USD $22.83 /hr (minimum and maximum).
