Equipment Operator – Sam Houston Race Park Join to apply for the Equipment Operator role at Sam Houston Race Park . Reports to: Track Superintendent. Primary Purpose: Operate all heavy equipment in the maintenance of the race track surface. Train all operators in use of heavy equipment. Responsibilities Performs track maintenance duties including rail repair and irrigation. Operates equipment to maintain track surface. Trains operators in proper track maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma preferred. Texas Racing Commission License required. Minimum 1 year heavy equipment operator, preferably race track.
