Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high‑quality support to Legal Executives and other senior legal team members. This position reports to the VP of Securities and Corporate Governance, Legal Operations and Government Affairs. The successful candidate will be a highly trusted, organized individual who exercises discretion and has exceptional interpersonal and multi‑tasking skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Calendar Management: Manage calendars of VPs; coordinate across executives, business partners and team members by prioritizing schedules and qualifying requests. Proactively solicit agendas and manage attendee lists.
Meeting Planning and Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and organizing of internal and external meetings, team offsites, and organization‑wide meetings. Obtain briefing documents for key meetings and create briefing packets for business trips.
Correspondence/Approvals: Act as a proxy for communications and approvals as authorized. Serve as a source for general inquiries and refer routine matters to appropriate parties.
Travel: Manage complex international and domestic travel. Carefully consider and decide the optimum travel arrangements and itineraries. Process passports and visas.
Tool Management: Manage expense reports and purchase orders and become a tool champion of WD’s internal tools. Coordinate with IT support teams to ensure the best technology needed for successful meetings and events.
In general, daily tasks are carried out at a higher level of complexity. Your job will be to problem‑solve, intuitively understand priorities, and plan‑ahead for recurring events and tasks.
Qualifications
Required 4+ years’ experience supporting senior‑level executives (VP+) in a public company, preferably legal or finance in high‑tech.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
Great attention to detail and the maturity to handle confidential information.
Intuitive problem‑solver with thoughtful anticipation of deliverables.
Ability to prioritize and manage complex issues.

Compensation & Benefits Details
An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, and experience; skills, ability, knowledge of the job; performance, contribution and results; geographic location; shift; space and internal and external equity; and business and organizational needs.
The salary range is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The range may be modified in the future and may be higher or lower than what is posted. The range applies to jobs performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in those states.
If your position is non‑exempt, you are eligible for overtime pay pursuant to company policy and applicable laws. You may also be eligible for shift differential pay.
You will be eligible to be considered for bonuses under either Western Digital’s Short Term Incentive Plan (STI) or the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). You may also be eligible to participate in the annual Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) program. Please note that not all roles are eligible for equity or bonuses.
