Responsibilities Operate office equipment; faxing, scanning and copying documents
Answer Zoom calls and transfer calls to appropriate staff
Answer emails with professionalism and accuracy
Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail
Prepare outgoing mail and packages for distribution
Assemble and compile basic data according to specific instructions
Utilize manual and automated methods to enter and retrieve data (i.e. run reports)
Retrieve and organize supplies
Assist in the planning of events (e.g. poster design, hanging signs, setup, teardown)
Attend events to run ticketing, usher, and/or assist the head audio technician
Keep office area neat and orderly
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications Must be a current or incoming CSS student
Federal work study eligibility is required (international students exempt)
Must be responsible, dependable, and detail oriented
Must have the ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
Must have time management skills
Must have the ability to accurately record credit card and cash payments
Good work ethic, positive attitude and acceptable attendance required
Computer skills required; experience and proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google Suite required
Willingness to learn and use software (e.g. Constant Contact)
Strong customer service skills
Must have the ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job functions require sitting, standing, lifting and walking
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Ability to perform the above job duties without risk of significant injury
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Must be willing and able to work outside of regular office hours including weekends
Preferred Qualifications Sophomore or greater
Driver’s license helpful (with a clean driving record)
Special Instructions Hours per week: up to 10 hours; more hours may be required during high volume event weeks
