Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
Mammography Technologist
to join our imaging team in Las Vegas, NV 89101 The technologist will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures in accordance with MQSA, ACR, ARRT, and state regulations, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams as ordered by physicians. Ensure compliance with
MQSA, ACR, ARRT, and California state requirements . Properly position patients and operate mammography equipment to obtain optimal images. Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and image quality standards. Educate patients about the procedure, answering questions and ensuring comfort. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to support diagnostic accuracy. Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and assist with quality control testing. Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
ARRT (R) certification required. ARRT (M) Mammography certification preferred California
CRT and Fluoroscopy permit BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through AHA. Minimum of 1-2 year of mammography experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills with ability to provide compassionate patient care.
