The Role The Digital & E-Commerce Marketing Director will lead one of the company’s most important and scalable growth channels. This role owns the strategy, performance, and evolution of our e‑commerce business, working closely with leadership to ensure digital growth supports and strengthens our retail and foodservice channels.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for a seasoned e‑commerce marketer who enjoys building, refining, and scaling—while remaining closely connected to brand, storytelling, and mission.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership
Own and execute the annual e‑commerce marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue, with a focus on community building and tea and coffee consumer behavior.
Partner closely with the CEO to develop the annual content calendar and integrated campaigns spanning new products, seasonal launches, promotions, and gifting.
Lead e‑commerce as a core growth engine, thoughtfully aligning it with retail, foodservice, and hospitality so channels reinforce one another.
Translate brand purpose and nonprofit ownership into clear, compelling campaigns across digital and partner channels.
Manage and mentor a small, high‑impact in‑house and external team across brand, digital, creative, paid media, and partnerships.
Oversee the e‑commerce marketing budget in partnership with the VP of Finance, including forecasting, performance tracking, and ROI analysis.
Brand & Creative Leadership
Steward the Grace Farms Tea & Coffee brand across all digital touchpoints, ensuring consistency, clarity, and emotional resonance.
Collaborate with creative and design partners to deliver beautiful, community & story‑driven content that builds loyalty and trust.
Align organic, paid, and owned content to a cohesive editorial and campaign calendar.
Lead go‑to‑market planning for new product launches and seasonal collections.
Own Q4 gifting strategy, including positioning, storytelling, and conversion optimization.
Growth, Performance & Optimization
Own core e‑commerce KPIs including AOV, LTV, conversion rate, retention, and ROAS.
Lead conversion rate optimization across site experience, email, SMS, paid media, and content.
Leverage Shopify Plus, SEO best practices, AI tools, and platform integrations to improve discoverability, personalization, and performance.
Drive customer acquisition and retention through integrated paid, owned, and earned campaigns.
Partner with external paid media specialists to optimize creative, spend, and performance.
Collaborate with Grace Farms Foundation and mission‑aligned partners to amplify impact‑driven storytelling and online sales.
Establish a clear cadence of reporting and insights using Google Analytics and other tools to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience Required Experience
7–10+ years of progressive experience in e‑commerce or digital marketing, ideally within a DTC, CPG, or food & beverage brand or agency through high growth periods.
Prior experience at the manager or director level with clear ownership of e‑commerce performance.
Deep, hands‑on experience with
Shopify Plus , including site merchandising, app integrations, and optimization.
Strong working knowledge of
Klaviyo
(email and SMS), including lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and automation.
Experience using
Google Analytics
to track performance, analyze behavior, and guide strategy.
Fluency with
Google Workspace
(Docs, Sheets, Slides) for planning, reporting, and collaboration.
Practical experience applying
AI tools
to improve productivity, personalization, content development, SEO, and performance.
Experience managing paid media in partnership with external agencies or specialists.
Strong analytical skills with comfort owning KPIs and translating data into action.
Leadership & Work Style

Compensation & Benefits We believe great work is supported by fairness, transparency, and flexibility.
Salary range:
$135,000 – $150,000, based on experience
Annual bonus:
Eligibility for up to additional 8% of salary, tied to financial and impact‑based goals
Health benefits:
Medical, dental and vision HSA plan through Aetna with 80% premium costs covered by the company
Retirement:
401(k) plan with 4% match.
Time off:
15 days of paid time off, plus paid sick time
