Security Officer – Government Patrol Full Coverage

Brooklyn, NY . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with the public, delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

What You’ll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and greeting visitors as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response efforts by following evacuation or lockdown procedures when necessary.
Complete detailed reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Maintain professional communication with staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
