Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice‑President, Finance, Procurement, and Compliance
Key member of DC Water’s Senior Executive Team (SET) responsible for ensuring the financial sustainability of DC Water and its overall strategic vision. The role leads strategic planning, management, and control of all finance, procurement, and contract compliance activities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Principal responsibilities include:
Accounting operations, financial governance, and contract compliance
Financial planning, forecasting, rate setting, and budget alignment
Risk management, asset management, treasury and debt management
Strategic procurement and overall financial oversight
Payroll and accounts payable
Overall financial planning and forecasting
Rate setting and budget alignment
Risk management, asset management, treasury and debt management
Strategic procurement
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field
Required Experience:
10‑15 years of progressive experience managing and controlling an agency’s financial management system, inclusive of senior management experience.
