A growing emergencydepartment in Grand Ledge, MI is seeking a Board Certified Emergency MedicinePhysician to provide locum tenens coverage. This role offers flexible shiftoptions, no call requirements, and the opportunity to support a developing EDwith manageable patient volumes.
Schedule
12-hour shifts available Weekend coverage options include 24-hourshifts or 12-hour shifts Day: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM No on-call requirements Facility & ED Details
Projected Annual ED Volume:
~15,000 visits Average Daily Volume:
~20 patients/day during first 6 months ~40 patients/day by the end of year one
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergencydepartment patients across all acuity levels. Perform emergency procedures consistentwith Emergency Medicine training. Manage trauma and acute medical cases inaccordance with ATLS guidelines. Coordinate care with consultants andinpatient teams as needed. Ensure timely and accurate clinicaldocumentation in the facility’s EMR system. Requirements
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine(ABEM or AOBEM only) Active Michigan medical license (orability to obtain) ATLS certification required DEA registration required No Family Medicine or Internal Medicinecandidates considered Grand Ledge, MI is acharming small city just west of Lansing, known for its scenic sandstoneledges, river trails, and close-knit community.
