Phlebotomist II – Quest Diagnostics – Pearland, TX Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with rotational weekends. 5‑hour evenings in some weeks. Pay Range: $18.50+ per hour. Salary offers consider skills, training, experience, education and certifications. Successful candidates may receive an annual performance bonus. Administer oral solutions according to training. Research client information, confirm and verify written & electronic orders via laboratory systems. Enter data accurately into computer systems. Obtain identification, enter billing information, collect payments per corporate policies. Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparing for transport). Perform non‑patient duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitization, filing, phone & email handling. Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Assist with compilation & submission of statistics and data. Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs in a timely manner. Complete online and in‑person training courses. Qualifications Three years phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, capillary). Keyboard/data‑entry experience. Flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record (if applicable). Required Education High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification encouraged; required in California, Nevada, Washington. Position requires effective English communication.
