Phlebotomist I – Cohasset, MA
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends.
Pay Range
$20.58 - $22.74 per hour. Salary offers are based on skills, training, experience, education, certifications, market and organizational factors. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
Collect specimens according to established procedures (e.g., drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
Administer oral solutions per training.
Research test/client information and confirm and verify orders using lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools.
Navigate a computer and accurately enter data; requirement for success.
Obtain identification and accurately enter billing information, collect payments when required, following corporate policies.
Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparing for transport) as required by test order.
Perform non‑patient‑facing duties (inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, using email).
Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required.
Maintain all phlebotomy logs in a timely manner according to frequency (maintenance logs, temperature logs).
Complete online and in‑person training courses on time.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Experience
One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Effective communication in English is required.
