Summary
*****A recruitment/relocation incentive may be offered to highly qualified candidate(s).***** The incumbents will serve as an Urgent Care Physician located within the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) assigned to the Emergency Medicine Service. Assignments to other facilities within OVAHCS and travel to the site - may be required to meet the needs of the service. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) - Please see below.
Duties
This is an open continuous announcement that will remain open until filled
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis
Eligible applicants will be referred each week for consideration until a selection is made
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) - a student loan payment reimbursement program
You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment
Approval - award amount (up to $200 -000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package

Manages chronic conditions - evaluates and treats inter-current medical conditions
Determine medical assessment and develop treatment plans according to accepted protocols
Timely documentation (notes and encounter forms) is necessary in all areas in accordance with facility policy
All administrative work should be completed in a timely fashion Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm (Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor - the incumbent may be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis based on facility/patient care needs).
