Job Summary Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for someone who has a kind approach with the elderly, is a good listener, can build rapport easily, and has good communication skills. Interim Activities Director

Essential Functions
Implement group programming that promotes interaction between residents.
Notify residents and staff of activity schedules.
Visits with residents on a one-to-one basis to provide:
A friendly visitor.
Sensory stimulation.
Reality orientation.
A means of meeting individual needs as outlined in each resident’s Activity Plan.
Selects residents and communicates with nursing personnel for purpose of assistance in transporting residents to and from general activity areas.
Responsible for general housekeeping duties in Activity areas.
Preferred: Activities Director Certification.
