We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) professional to join the Data & Analytics team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in automation, and a solid understanding of data analytics processes.
Key Responsibilities
Automate BI semantic model testing to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Go beyond report creation—develop a deep understanding of how reports are generated and validated.
Investigate data mismatches and identify root causes.
Analyze test failures, document findings, and create comprehensive bug reports.
Verify bug fixes and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain and update test cases as requirements evolve.
Required Skills & Experience
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and queries.
Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
Working knowledge of Power BI and semantic models.
Hands-on experience with API testing and UI testing.
Strong automation skills for testing workflows and processes.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Selenium or other web automation tools.
Familiarity with Pytest framework.
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
General knowledge of QA methodologies and testing best practices.
Candidate must be able to work onsite 3 days per week in Spring, TX.
