This role is a high‑impact opportunity to partner directly with hiring managers, interviewing teams, and executives, owning searches end‑to‑end across R&D, while also supporting non‑technical roles when needed. We are hiring a Technical Recruiter who thrives in builder mode, moves fast without sacrificing quality, and knows how to maintain strong, evergreen pipelines of top talent. This is a chance to shape the growth of DroneDeploy. This position is structured as contract-to-hire and offers the flexibility of working remotely. Applicants must reside within the United States. Responsibilities Must have a Computer Science Degree Full-cycle recruiting for Engineers (across levels, including proficient to senior to manager level). Proven experience managing technical recruiting efforts on a global scale, sourcing and hiring talent across multiple regions? Deliver at speed and quality—filling roles in Partner with hiring managers to shape roles, design effective interview panels, and ensure alignment with business goals. Continuously build evergreen pipelines of candidates for current and future needs—ready to call upon when new openings hit. Run tailored sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, networks, referrals, and creative approaches. Provide a standout candidate experience. Track recruiting metrics to optimize performance and keep us ahead of hiring goals (:20 hires per quarter). Act as a brand ambassador, showcasing our mission, culture, and opportunities we offer. Operate with focus, independence, and speed—our growth depends on closing critical hires on time. Requirements Proven in-house recruiting experience in SaaS, with deep expertise filling R&D roles across all levels—from proficiency-level engineers to senior ICs, managers, and directors—including candidates with highly niche technical skillsets. Hustle and drive—you’re self-directed, thrive in ambiguity, and know how to get the job done. Proven ability to manage 10–15 roles per quarter without sacrificing quality or speed. Strong experience with Lever (or comparable ATS) and sourcing platforms, plus a track record of using AI tools to streamline recruiting workflows, enhance sourcing, and improve candidate experience. A data-driven mindset, with the ability to report and act on key recruiting metrics. A continuous improvement mindset—always testing and refining recruiting strategies, tools, and processes to raise the bar. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage up effectively and confidently partner with executives and hiring managers. Availability for occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and company events (1x per quarter). Compensation & Benefits $120,000 - $140,000 a year. The base salary range reflects the compensation band across our Tier 1, 2, and 3 locations, including the SF Bay Area. The salary offered will vary based on meeting role requirements, skills, experience, level, and location. In addition to the base salary, we offer equity, employee benefits, and programs. This role also includes a variable pay component (company bonus) on top of the base salary.
