Pay for this role is $20+ per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable before, during, and after their appointment.
Take and process dental radiographs, impressions and intraoral photos.
Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment.
Provide chair‑side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures.
Document dental care services by charting in patients’ records.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient‑centric working environment.
Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
Qualifications
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with a valid registration.
Six (6) or more months of practical experience as a dental assistant.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
Completion of a CODA‑accredited dental assisting program (Preferred).
Quick learner with problem solving skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records, scheduling, etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
Be organized and possess superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
