Overview
Labcorp delivers essential health information to clients and patients. As a Phlebotomist, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company while supporting continuous growth opportunities within the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other required screenings.
Enter patient data accurately and promptly, including billing information and payment collection when required.
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis; maintain specimen and patient logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Travel to additional collection sites when required.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred.
At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred; proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
Flexibility to work overtime and pass a standardized color blindness test.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Additional hours and weekends may be required as needed.
