Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility, based in Cottage Grove, MN 55016 .

Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials. The rate is based on years of direct experience as listed in the resume.)
Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or healthcare environment is an asset.
Proficiency with data entry and keyboarding is also preferred.
