Base Pay Range
$17.00/hr - $19.75/hr
Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Palm Springs, FL! This is a 4 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Location: Palm Springs, FL 33461
Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (EST)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $17-19.75/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
Create a positive, confident, and compassionate atmosphere for patients.
Clearly explain procedures and address patient concerns.
Prepare and package specimens for laboratory transport following established protocols.
Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labeling.
Operational Responsibilities
Perform all daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Follow all clinical and forensic specimen handling procedures.
Maintain logs, documentation, and required compliance records.
Demonstrate organizational commitment, professionalism, and positive representation of Quest.
Professionalism & Conduct
Uphold confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient information.
Provide error‑free work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Be flexible and available for staffing needs including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime (if required).
Arrive on time daily and complete full scheduled shifts — excessive tardiness or absenteeism leads to termination.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required).
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
