Float Phlebotomist
Labcorp is hiring a Float Phlebotomist to join our passionate team dedicated to helping people live happy and healthy lives. Job Description
In this role, you will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and more. You will also manage data entry of patient information, process billing, prepare specimens for testing, maintain logs, provide superior customer service, and perform administrative duties as required.
Pay Range and Incentives
Pay range: $17.75 - $25.92 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Additional float incentive: $2.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 4:30 am–6:30 pm with rotating Saturdays 7:30 am–12:00 pm.

Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Carry out administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or previous experience as a phlebotomist.
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
At least 21 years of age.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
