Quest Diagnostics is hiring: Phlebotomist II in Weatherford

Phlebotomist II Location: Weatherford, TX Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends. Pay: $18.50+ per hour (based on skills, experience, education, certifications and market factors). Eligibility for annual performance bonus. Responsibilities Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams. Administer oral solutions per established training. Research test/client information, confirm and verify orders via lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools. Navigate a computer and accurately enter data. Obtain identification and accurately enter billing information; collect payments when required following corporate policies. Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required by test order. Perform non‑patient facing duties: inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and using email. Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Assist compilation and submission of statistics and data when required. Maintain all appropriate phlebotomy logs timely (maintenance logs, temperature logs). Complete online and in‑person training courses promptly. Qualifications Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Keyboard/data entry experience. Flexible and available to accommodate staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable. Required Education High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
