Business Execution Consultant – (QA / Testing) Location: St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) Duration: 6 months (extension likely) Type: Contract (W2 only) About the Role We are seeking 5 contract resources to support application testing for a large-scale financial services platform. This role is embedded in agile development teams and focuses on ensuring high-quality software releases by performing manual testing and collaborating closely with engineers and product owners. This is a hands‑on testing role in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have both strong testing skills and financial services experience , particularly in advisory, wealth management, or brokerage systems. Responsibilities Develop and execute manual test scripts and end‑to‑end test scenarios Document and track test results, defects, and retesting outcomes Collaborate with agile teams, including product owners and engineers, to define testing requirements Support the validation of new application features, enhancements, and workflows Participate in quality assurance activities throughout the development lifecycle Ensure attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness in all testing activities Required Skills 2+ years of experience in business execution, implementation, or QA/testing Hands‑on experience with manual testing in agile environments Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking and project management tools Strong collaboration and communication skills Proficiency in MS Excel for test documentation and reporting Ability to work effectively as part of a cross‑functional team Preferred Skills Experience in financial services, investment management, or brokerage systems Knowledge of advisory platforms, managed accounts, or trading workflows Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright Familiarity with Octane or other test management platforms Additional Information Work schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Start target: Immediate / within the next month Interview process: One‑round interview This is a contract project role, with potential extensions based on business needs Why Join This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high‑visibility projects in the financial services space while collaborating closely with agile teams to deliver quality software solutions .
