About the role
The Executive Recruiter is responsible for executing the full life‑cycle of direct hire recruiting for top tier, mid‑to senior‑level professional direct hire job orders for a variety of clients. Partners with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs. Analyzes hiring needs, determines best recruiting methods, creates and deploys client and role‑specific recruiting strategies. Develops client accounts and generates new business through candidate and client leads, referrals and various forms of marketing. Builds and maintains a comprehensive candidate pipeline that addresses client needs. Serves as subject matter expert on market trends, target industries, and roles.
What you’ll be doing
Develop client accounts and generate new business through candidate and client leads, referrals and various forms of marketing.
Partner with clients to analyze hiring needs, determine best recruiting methods, and create and deploy client and role‑specific strategic recruiting strategies and client marketing initiatives.
Stay abreast of leading industry trends and recruiting best practices.
Build and maintain subject matter expertise on target industries, clients and roles.
Administer job postings in various systems.
Screen resumes and conduct behavioral‑based interviews and competency‑based evaluations.
Provide guidance and negotiate fee agreements with clients; complete appropriate correspondence for each placement.
Nurture continued account development for generating new business.
Tour clients’ offices and seek to gain full understanding of clients’ goals and objectives.
Generate direct‑hire fees per budgeted goals.
Enter and track assignment and candidate data in various tracking and order systems.
Create and execute temporary employee programs.
Build and maintain relationships with both passive and active candidates.
Establish and maintain a network of industry contacts through participation in professional and trade associations and other professional networking organizations.
Develop relationships with key clients and business leaders.
Respond to and address a variety of candidate, temporary employee and client inquiries.
Complete candidate hiring and onboarding processes in accordance with client and organizational requirements.
Coach, train and mentor other team members.
Ensure compliance and safety requirements are met.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
About you
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
One to three years of experience recruiting top tier, mid‑to senior‑level candidates or relevant industry experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ability to identify and resolve problems through recommending and implementing creative solutions.
Ability to demonstrate business acumen and market insight.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and understand employment‑related laws, rules and regulations.
Knowledge and ability to utilize Applicant Tracking Systems.
Knowledge of current sourcing and recruiting trends, best practices and methodologies.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Knowledge of and ability to utilize Customer Relationship Management Systems and/or related tools.

Salary
The anticipated salary for this position is $50,000-$70,000 unless outlined below. In addition to base salary, the position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievements outlined in the compensation plan.
New York City, Long Island, and Westchester Counties – $64,350-$70,000
New York – All Other Locations – $60,405.80-$70,000
Washington – $77,968.80
